The University of Abuja Law is deeply involved in the conversation regarding the on going justice sector reforms. In continuation of the Reform Kuje Project, there was an enlarged prosecutors meeting involving prosecutors from the Ministry of Justice, Force Headquarters and the other law enforcement agencies. There was also in attendance, Pro Bono lawyers from the Legal Aid Council and other law firms and our dear Clinicians from Uniabuja, Nile and Base Universities. The interaction was a good opportunity to unravel the many challenges of the sector. Justice it was agreed, must be a three way thing: to the victim, to the offender and to the state. The role of prosecutors in all this cannot be overemphasized. The meeting held on Friday the 21st February, 2020 at Hawthorn Suites, Abuja and was organized by NULAI and its other partners.
